Review: Cabin in the Woods (2012)
I really wanted to catch this movie before it came out of theaters, because I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about it. Does it live up to this?
The answer is yes. This movie is good in the same way that Piranha and Cabin Fever were. Meaning the premise of the movie is so ridiculous but the director and producers know it and work off of it. Where this movie really excels is in the last 1/3. Thats when it gets really good and crazy. Can’t say much without giving anything away, so I won’t.
The cons are that the first 2/3 of the movie are lacking and none of the characters really stand out. If you are a horror movie fan this is a can’t miss movie.
